my family and i had a lovely stay at cley hall. the executive double room was massive and super comfy, perfect for us. the staff were fantastic and even took our bags to our room while we were out at a wedding. the location is close to the town centre with parking available, which was a bonus.
100% recommend

Target audience budget conscious
So, the stay was a bit of a grab-bag. First off, the staff were unbelievably accommodating—like, they even left food in my room when I had to leave early for an event. Plus, the bed was decent, not the worst I've experienced in my travels.
Sure, it wasn't exactly cheap, but given the overall quality, I think it was still acceptable.

Amazing stay in Spalding
We had a fab stay for one night! The room was super comfy, felt like home. Big shoutout to the breakfast, it was cooked to order and way better than the usual stuff. Only thing was, the heating took a while to warm up, so we were a bit chilly at first.

The room was comfortable and spacious with charming décor, but the Wi-Fi was frustratingly unreliable, impacting work. Breakfast was surprisingly delightful with generous portions, but the evening meal options were lackluster. it was a pleasant experience with friendly staff, yet some areas could improve.

Cley Hall’s atmosphere impressed me right away. The historic charm of the building added a lovely touch to our stay. The spacious Executive Double Room had a fantastic garden view, perfect for relaxing after our activities. I found the bed really comfortable, which contributed to some great sleep. Staff friendliness stood out too. they were helpful and accommodating throughout our stay. the heating control in the room could be improved. It felt a bit too cold at times, especially in the bathroom. the shower needed better upkeep as it struggled to drain properly. A few minor cleanliness issues were noticeable, but nothing that overshadowed the positives. a pleasant experience with lovely grounds and good service, but a few maintenance tweaks are necessary.

Had an incredible time with friends! We visited a local park and the town center, both just a short walk away. The rooms were cozy and the staff were super helpful. Would recommend trying the breakfast—it was quick and delicious!
One downside was the bar closing early, which meant we couldn't wind down with a drink after a long day.
